Each of the ten winners announced at the Muhammad Sanusi II SDG initiative will receive $10,000

On Saturday, March 25, 2023, the Muhammad Sanusi II Sustainable Development Goal (MSII SDG) Initiative held its SDG Challenge Showcase for Cohort 2. Ten winning education projects from the incubator program in Sub-Saharan Africa were unveiled at the event. As they progress to the accelerator phase, these winners will each receive $10,000 to scale up their innovative education projects. In July 2022, the incubator program received 1700 applications, and 25 winners were chosen. Following a $2,000 initial grant, an 8-month critical training and review process, and 10 out of 25 finalists were chosen across three categories: Foundational Skills, Novel Curricula, and Complex Populations. The winners include; Alero Thompson (Tech Fingers), Zenaida Odimegwu ( The Eduvate Initiative), Joseph Ogbonnaya (The ‘project sportive’ Initiative), Patricia Uma ( Ilearn Literacy) for Category 1, Gloria Ifeyinwa Ayogu (Kiddie Press Club), McDonald Nguluwe (Green Sound Project), Wallace Maguma Tort (Education through Agriculture) for Category 2, and Olajumoke Adebisi (Pad Innovation Project), Mufida Bashir Isyaku (Refugees and Displaced Persons Support), Oluwabunmi Anani (Quality Education for all) for Category 3.
