With a $24.2 billion approval for internet facilities in airports, institutions, and markets, Nigeria is set to revolutionize internet connectivity. In order to improve internet connectivity across the country, President Muhammadu Buhari presided over the Federal Executive Council, which approved $24.2 billion for the provision of internet facilities at 20 airports, some institutions of learning, and markets across Nigeria. The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Pantami, disclosed this during a briefing with State House Correspondents after the FEC meeting on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
