FG launches its Presidential Conditional Grant Program to strengthen nanobusinesses

As part of the Presidential Palliative Programme, the Federal Government has launched the Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme (PCGS) to empower nano enterprises.The program would provide financial incentives, free of payback responsibilities, to qualified small company owners that operate in a variety of industries, including commerce, food services, ICT, transportation, creatives, and craftsmen, starting on March 9, 2024.The PCGS targets the following demographics: 15% goes to other groups, 10% goes to those with impairments, 5% goes to old adults, and 70% goes to women and adolescents. The initiative aims to unleash the potential of Nigeria's emerging entrepreneurial ecosystem and promote sustainable economic growth at the local level by concentrating on the frequently disregarded group of company owners.
