As the market recovers, investors gain N10 billion

The Nigerian Exchange Limited's bearish run came to an end on Tuesday, when the market recovered with a N10 billion gain for investors. The equities market capitalisation increased by 0.3% to N29.909 trillion, the same percentage as the All Share Index, which increased to 54, 906.65 from 54, 886.04 on Monday. On Tuesday, 127.744 million shares worth N1.586 billion were traded in 2,987 transactions. At the end of the day's trading, there were 12 equities on the gainers' and losers' tables, indicating that market sentiment was flat.
