FG confident of creating 3m jobs in digital tech industry
The director general declared that job placement would take precedence and that by the end of 2027, 70% more people will be digitally literate.Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa, asserts that it is possible to create three million jobs in the digital technology industry in the next four years.This was said by Inuwa on Friday in Abuja during the Public Sector Digital Innovation Summit, which was hosted by Datamellon and AWS (Amazon Web Services).Bernard Ewah, the NITDA's acting director of e-Government Development and Regulation, was in his place. According to Inuwa, the agency is currently collaborating with the public and commercial sectors to meet the goal by 2027.
