Sub-Saharan African youth prioritise financial success over personal happiness

Insightful information has been revealed in a global report produced from over 45,000 participants aged between 15 and 29, encompassing 212 nations and territories, as part of Youth Talks, a project of the Higher Education for Good Foundation."African youth have a tremendous desire to express themselves and actively participate in international decision-making, as evidenced by the large number of them who participated in the consultation as participants and ambassadors. This emphasizes how crucial it is to provide the younger generation from this area a forum to express their ideas and help resolve the problems they encounter. The director of Youth Talks, Marine Hadengue, stated that by doing this, "we can make sure that their distinct perspectives are taken into account when shaping policies and initiatives that impact their future and the world at large."
