In Nigeria, the US will organize a 5-day investor roadshow

The roadshow will boost USAID's initiatives to encourage more private sector funding for infrastructure projects in key industries.From October 9 to October 13, the U.S. will host an investor roadshow through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Nigeria and the U.S. government's Prosper Africa and Power Africa projects.The U.S. mission said in a statement that the roadshow will introduce American investors to investment opportunities and the Nigerian investment ecosystem. This statement was acquired by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday. According to the announcement, 12 executives from top U.S. pension funds and financial service providers, who collectively oversee over $1 trillion in assets, would engage with Nigerian businesses and fund managers while abroad. The mission said a key objective of the trip was to break down information gaps on Nigeria’s business environment and real and perceived risks so that investors could accurately assess business and project opportunities.
