The idea of borderless trade within the continent will be welcomed by Africa

In Nairobi, Kenya, recent discussions to make Africa a borderless continent in its commerce activities got under way.The 14th summit of the African Accreditation Cooperation (AFRAC), which is commemorating its 13th anniversary, will focus mostly on this issue. The Kenya Accreditation Service (KENAS), which is hosting the week-long conference, wants to look at how African nations may have a jurisdiction-free zone for carrying out business operations. Juma Mukhwana, senior secretary for industry at Kenya's Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), asserted that a long-term fix is required for the continent's small sector, which makes up just 3% of the world's total. “We need more cross-border businesses so that if you do a factory in one country you are able to access a larger market within Africa for an economic sense of growth,” Mukhwana disclosed.
