Shettima reports that Tinubu wants the cost of fertilizers to drop by 50%

According to Shettima, Tinubu places a strong priority on advancing the national food security agenda.President Bola Tinubu, according to Vice President Kashim Shettima, is fervently committed to lowering the cost of fertilizer for Nigerian farmers in order to secure the achievement of food security.This was said by Shettima during a stakeholders' meeting on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja with the Federal Government and the Fertilizer Producers and Suppliers Association of Nigeria (FEPSAN). Abubakar Kyari, the minister of agriculture, and Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, the minister of state for agriculture, are among the participants at the meeting. The discussion, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), was mostly focused on the 33,000 metric tonnes of potash that Russia's Uralchem Group and UN Partners contributed to the Federal Government.
