Obi also requested that the court issue an order allowing him to question INEC on the information technology utilized in the election.Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, has called a software programmer as a witness in a petition he filed at the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) to dispute President Bola Tinubu's victory.On Thursday, June 8, 2023, the engineer, identified as Anthony Chinwo, testified as the second petitioners' witness. Despite telling the court that he is familiar with the operation of back-end servers, Chinwo also stated that he is unfamiliar with the application of the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) for general elections. The witness, when being cross-examined,who also identified himself as an architect, told the court that he didn't feature in any key role during the presidential election.
