APC advises Atiku to appear in court

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been encouraged by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to hire attorneys to argue his case in court rather than organizing a street demonstration. In a statement released on Monday in Abuja, Bayo Onanuga, Director of Media and Publicity for the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), offered the guidance. The statement was the APC PCC's response to a protest organized by PDP members under the leadership of Atiku against the results of the presidential and national assembly elections held on February 25.
