Isong further stated that the facility would help to lower the price of gasoline if the government decided to de-regulate the product.He said: “All Nigerians look forward to the future with the hope and conviction that this refinery will contribute significantly to the growth of the economy. According to NAN, President Muhammadu Buhari would open the Dangote Refinery, which was founded by business billionaire Alhaji Aliko Dangote, on May 22. The Dangote Refinery, the world's largest single-train refinery, would aid the Federal Government's efforts to ensure Nigeria's self-sufficiency in crude oil refining.The 650,000 barrels per day refinery will also help to save scarce foreign exchange utilized in petroleum product importation.
