Chibuisi begins serving as the new MNJTF Commander

Chibuisi claimed that the departing force commander had given him a thorough explanation of the operational mandate, accomplishments, difficulties, and ongoing activities.Maj.-Gen. Gold Chibuisi, the recently appointed Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) Force Commander, has replaced the outgoing commander, Maj.-Gen. Abdul-Khalifah Ibrahim. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Chibuisi assumed duty on Wednesday in N’Djamena, Chad Republic, having served in the Theatre for 20 months from Aug. 6, 2021, till date. In order to work at the National Center for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NCCSALW) in the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), Abuja, Khalifa would be leaving the MNJTF.The presentation of the MNJTF Force command flag from his predecessor (Khalifs) to Chibuisi after signing the handing and taking over notes was one of the event's highlights. Additionally, he received the MNJTF command insignia, which represents a change in command.
