The FG declares Friday and Monday as public holidays in observance of Eid al-Fitr

Aregbesola wished Muslims a joyful Eid ul-Fitr and prayed for everyone to experience Allah's blessings, favor, and peace.For this year's Eid al-Fitr celebration, the Federal Government has designated Friday, November 21, and Monday, November 24, as Public Holidays. This was said in a statement made on Wednesday in Abuja by Dr. Shuaib Belgore, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior. He congratulated Muslims on completing the fast-observance month of Ramadan successfully and urged them to emulate the kindness, love, tolerance, self-denial, and sacrifice exhibited by the Holy Prophet Muhammad. He admonished Nigerians to also report suspicious activities and persons to the N-Alert application. Aregbesola wished Muslims a happy Eid-el-Fitr celebration and prayed that the peace, blessings and favour of Allah would be with all.
