FG appeals to aviation unions to halt the current strike

According to the ministry, the complaints that prompted the union's action are problems that shouldn't result in a strike.The Ministry of Aviation on behalf of the Federal Government has pleaded with the aviation unions to call off their current strike.The ministry voiced its disappointment at the ongoing warning strike by the aviation unions despite its efforts to address the unions' requests in a statement by the head of press and public relations for the ministry, Odutayo Oluseyi. The administration argued that the strike is unneeded and that the union's complaints should not have resulted in a walkout. Oluseyi, who spoke on behalf of the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, noted that the strike would increase the hardship “on our citizens, affect flight schedules, lead to economic losses and negatively impact our rating globally.”
