Former governor of Anambra Mbadinuju passes away at age 78

Between 1999 to 2003, Anambra State was administered by Mbadinuju on the PDP's platform. Dr. Chinwoke Mbadinuju, a former governor of Anambra State, has passed away. Mbadinuju was reported to have passed away in the National Hospital in Abuja on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the age of 78, following a brief illness. Between 1999 and 2003, he served as the Peoples Democratic Party's governor of Anambra State. A press release announcing the passing of the former governor, affectionately known as "Odera," was issued by his son, Mr. Cheta Mbadinuju, on behalf of the family.
