The EFCC warns students to avoid internet fraud

"Integrity may not provide you with money today, but it will put you on the path to success," he said. The EFCC charged students at tertiary institutions on Thursday in Abuja to avoid internet fraud in order to accelerate national development. Mr Wilson Uwujaren, its spokesman, quoted the EFCC's Executive Chairman, Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa, as giving the charge at the inauguration of the Zero Tolerance Club at Baze University in Abuja. Uwujaren stated that the Secretary to the Commission, Dr. George Ekpungu, represented Bawa at the club's inauguration. Bawa warned students that the penalties for internet fraud were severe and urged them to avoid any temptations that might lead them to join fraudsters.
