FG backs Nigeria's choice to take in food supplies from the war-torn Ukraine
The minister pointed out that President Tinubu's election to power did not bring about the nation's present problems.According to Alhaji Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Nigeria is neither a weak or failing state since it took cereals from Ukraine.About 60% of Egypt's grain imports come from Ukraine. Even though Egypt imports over 60% of its food from Ukraine, the country is not in collapse.Nigeria is not a failing state despite the difficulties we are now facing. Therefore, Nigeria and Egypt are not failing nations as a result of taking food from Ukraine.
