Tradesmen were advised by Okhiria not to do business on the rail lines since the trains would no longer stop to allow them to unload their cargo before passing.By the end of March, train services on the Port Harcourt to Aba line will begin, according to a statement released by the Federal Government on Saturday.The Port Harcourt-Aba rail project is a component of the broader Port Harcourt-Maiduguri railroad project, which was started by President Muhammadu Buhari's government, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). This was revealed at Port Harcourt by Fidet Okhiria, Managing Director of the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC), following the delegation's test-run of the rebuilt Eastern Narrow Gauge Rail line. In order to ensure that full train operation could start within the month, he added that workmen were now completing touches to the rails.
