Teachers beg Tinubu to declare state of emergency on security

The NUT President emphasized that all teachers should have a consistent scheme of service, and the union would see to it that this was implemented.President Bola Tinubu has been urged to declare a state of emergency on security by the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT).Comrade Audu Amba, the union's national president, made an appeal on Monday in Abuja during the NUT 6th Annual Solemn Assembly. According to him, Nigeria has recently seen unheard-of security difficulties, and the government needs to move decisively to address them. Therefore, in the event that the security situation does not improve, I humbly request that the Federal Government proclaim a state of emergency.
