Nigeria Air will fly before May 29, according to FG

Sirika believes the national carrier will be able to hire more pilots and create new job opportunities. The Federal Government has stated that Nigeria Air will begin operations before May 29, 2023. Hadi Sirika, Minister of Aviation, made the announcement on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the National Aviation Stakeholders Forum 2023. Remember that in November 2022, some domestic airline operators filed a lawsuit against the federal government over its national carrier agreement with Ethiopian Airlines. The airline operators asked the court to revoke Nigeria Air's existing Air Transport Licence issued by the Federal Government/Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.
