Breaking: 24 hours after the death of the Ekiti monarchs, police apprehend 5 accused kidnappers

The Ekiti State Police Command is still dedicated to making sure that its citizens are safe and secure.Five alleged kidnappers have been detained by the Ekiti State Police Command, about twenty-four hours after the assassination of two traditional rulers.The Police, NSCDC, Amotekun, OPC, and local hunters collaborated to conduct a comprehensive operation that resulted in the detention of the culprits. The arrests were made in a forested area as part of a bigger operation to remove criminal elements, mainly kidnappers, from the state, according to Police Public Relations Officer DSP Sunday Abutu. Important areas were covered by the operation, including as Oke-Osun, Ikere/Igbo-Okah, and the thick woodland at the Iju/Ikere border.The arrested suspects were identified as Usman Jelili, Mohammed Bande, Abubakar Aliu, Isah Abdulahi, and Suleiman Abdulahi.
