1 pupil dead, 10 injured in Kaduna explosion

Aruwan added that the state government would appropriately notify the public of any modifications.Ten people are reportedly injured and one student from an Islamiyya school has died as a result of an explosion in Kidandan village, Giwa Local Government Area, Kaduna State.In a statement made on Saturday in Kaduna, Samuel Aruwan, the Overseeing Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, stated that the security authorities were conducting a thorough investigation into the explosion.Aruwan stated, "Preliminary reports from the security agencies and traditional institution indicate that one of the students under the instruction of a local cleric picked up an object from the bush, which subsequently exploded among his peers."
