The 63 km Port Harcourt–Aba railway project is finished by FG

The managing director pledged that the Port Harcourt-Maiduguri rail tracks would be laid by the federal government in three years.The 63-kilometer Port Harcourt-Aba railway project was declared completed by the Federal Government on Wednesday.The President Muhammadu Buhari administration launched the broader Port Harcourt-Maiduguri railroad project, of which the Port Harcourt-Aba project is a component.This information was disclosed by Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) Managing Director Fidet Okhiria during a delegation visit to the project. As soon as the last details are put on the tracks, he said, train services would start in a few months.
