The president promised to improve people's lives through the budget's provisions.On Monday in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu signed the ?28.78 trillion 2024 appropriations bill into law.Following his return from the Christmas and New Year holidays in Lagos, Tinubu promptly signed the appropriations bill into law, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).During the occasion, Tinubu praised the National Assembly members' efforts for completing their job on weekends and public holidays and for passing the measure on schedule. According to NAN, Godswill Akpabio, the Senate President, Tajudeen Abbas, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abubakar Bagudu, the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, and Solomon Adeola, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations were present with him.
