Police confirm shooting of Nollywood actor Ijaduade by trigger-happy officer

Azeez Ijaduade was shot at an Ogun State end-of-year party by a negligent police officer.The shooting of Azeez Ijaduade, a Nigerian actor and producer/director, by a trigger-happy police officer has been confirmed by the Ogun State Police Command.Ijaduade, the son of seasoned Nollywood actor Waheed Ijaduade, was allegedly shot at the Iperu, Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State by a negligent police officer.Early on Sunday, December 24, 2023, Abiodun Adebanjo, the actor's colleague, revealed the information through a post on his Instagram Story. Adebanjo posted on Twitter under the username @iamabiodunadebanjo, saying, "Please, we need help in Peru. Azeez Ijaduade, @kingzeez1, my director, was shot by a Nigeria Police officer.
