FG sponsored only 422 delegates to COP-28 in Dubai — Presidency

Following the release of accredited participants attending the summit in Dubai, Nigerians accused President Bola Tinubu of leading an expensive administration. The dispute surrounding the large number of delegates to the ongoing climate change conference in Dubai has once again been explained by the Presidency.After the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) released the list of accredited delegates attending the meeting in Dubai over the weekend, a large number of Nigerians harshly criticized the Federal government.Nigeria is represented by 1,411 delegates on the list. Social media users criticized President Bola Tinubu for allegedly leading an opulent government in the face of austerity.
