Aides of Governor Yusuf and one other are detained by police for allegedly stealing the state's palliative care

With more than 200 empty bags, the suspects were apprehended at a warehouse in Sharada.The arrest of Tasiu Al'amin-Roba, a Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Cabinet office, and of Abdulkadir Muhammad for allegedly diverting the state's palliative care has been confirmed by the Kano State Police Command.In a phone interview on Sunday, Police Commissioner Hussaini Gumel informed the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the suspects had been apprehended at a warehouse in Sharada with more than 200 empty bags.According to him, the suspects were purportedly repackaging the corn and rice in the Sharada warehouse. He stated, "Since then, we have started a thorough investigation to determine how many bags of rice or maize were repackaged and sold."
