Adamawa governorship election declared inconclusive by INEC

INEC announced that a supplementary election will be held in the coming days to determine the winner. The Adamawa State governorship election has been declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The state Returning Officer, Prof. Mohammed Mele, made the announcement at the Collation Centre in Yola, Adamawa's capital, on Monday, March 20, 2023, saying the decision became necessary because a clear winner had not emerged after collation of results from all 21 Local Government Areas in the state.
