The results of the Bayelsa State governorship election on Saturday indicate that Douye Diri is the winner.The results of the state's governorship election on November 11 have been announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), with Douye Diri, the current governor of Bayelsa State, emerging victorious.At the polling place on Monday, November 13, 2023, Diri was declared the winner by Returning Officer Prof. Faruq Kuta.With 175,196, Diri defeated Timipre Sylva of the All Progressives Congress, his nearest opponent.
