Court orders LASU to reinstate sacked lecturer

Based on their own fraudulent evidence, the respondents deceived the judge into thinking that she had changed the pupils' test scores. On Thursday, the Lagos State University (LASU) and its governing council were directed by the National Industrial Court in Lagos to restore Dr. Udegbe Ebarefimia, a lecturer, to his position as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Management Science. In a decision written by Justice Maureen Esowe, the court also mandated that Udegbe receive all of her entitlements and salary from September 2017, the month she was fired illegally on the basis of unfounded allegations, as well as her salary differential from the time she was demoted to Lecturer I to the date of her termination.
