EKEDC apologizes to its consumers in Lagos and Ogun for the power outage

Lasaki promised that the affected clients would soon have power again.On Sunday, the management of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) expressed regret to its clients in Ogun State and several districts of Lagos for the protracted outage that afflicted those areas.In a statement released in Lagos, Babatunde Lasaki, General Manager, Corporate Communications, said that malfunctions in a few of the business's power distribution transformers were the root of the issue.He claims that the technical team of the business is attempting to quickly fix the issues. He said, "While pleading for your patience and understanding, kindly note that the technical team is working round the clock to ensure all faults are cleared," among of the impacted localities in Lagos and Ogun are Ijuri, Opic, Otto-Awori, Estate, Evans, and Shagamu.
