Release or generate Court orders dated November 6, Emefiele The EFCC

Emefiele joined the Federal Government, the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), the head of the EFCC, and the anti-corruption body as respondents through his legal team.On Thursday, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was directed by Justice Olukayode Adeniyi of an FCT High Court to either immediately release Godwin Emefiele, the beleaguered former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), or bring him before the court on November 6.After considering an ex parte motion filed by Emefiele with the number FCT/HC/CV/040/2023 in a Motion on Notice, Justice Adeniyi issued the order. He was initially taken into custody by the Department of State Service (DSS) in June after resigning as Governor of CBN. Last week, he was transported to the EFCC with the intention of obtaining his release.
