INEC blacklists 100 ad hoc employees in Akwa Ibom for rigging election

The next governorship and state assembly elections in the state, according to INEC, will not be attended by the blacklisted ad hoc workers. Dr. Cyril Omorogbe, the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Akwa Ibom, reports that the commission has delisted 100 temporary employees in the state due to their alleged involvement in electoral fraud. In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Uyo, Omorogbe made the revelation. He said that during the state's Presidential and National Assembly elections, the impacted ad hoc staff members were found responsible for electoral fraud. He declared that they had been "blacklisted" and will not be used in the House of Assembly and Governor races on Saturday.
