Police re-charge Evans with kidnapping and attempted murder

Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, also known as "Evans," a convicted billionaire kidnapping mastermind, was re-arrested on Thursday for suspected kidnapping and attempted murder before a Lagos State High Court sitting in Tafawa Balewa Square. Before Justice Ibironke Harrison, Evans was re-arrested together with Joseph Emeka, Victor Aduba, and Linus Opara. They were charged with five counts of conspiracy, kidnapping, and attempted murder by Mr. H. Owokoniran, Lagos State Prosecution Counsel. After Judge Adedayo Akintoye, the initial trial judge, transferred the case file, the case was reopened.
