'Terrible' punishment will be taken against Palestinian militants, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promises

In reaction to Hamas attacks on Saturday that killed more than 700 Israelis, Israel has launched airstrikes on targets in the Gaza Strip. 2,400 more people were hurt, and militants from Hamas abducted more than 100 Israelis back to the Gaza Strip. However, Israeli airstrikes in Gaza have resulted in more than 2,800 injuries and more than 558 fatalities.
