Naira Marley is being held as the Lagos police investigate the death of Mobhad

Police verified that Naira Marley was in their possession.The Lagos State Police Command has detained Naira Marley, whose true name is Azeez Fashola, in connection with the untimely death of former signee Mobhad."Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities," said Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesman for the Lagos police command. Naira Marley had earlier on Tuesday announced his return to Lagos and expressed his willingness to assist the ongoing inquiry via Twitter."I just returned to Lagos, Nigeria, and I'd want to let you know that I'll be helping the police with their continuing investigation. It's crucial that I contribute to Imole, he said. Expressing his commitment to the inquiry, he added, “I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”
