In his Independence Day broadcast, Tinubu had stated that low-level employees will receive an extra 25,000 each month for the following six months.President Bola Tinubu has given in to organized labor's demands and granted an extra 35,000 for workers in all categories for a period of six months.This news comes just an hour after the federal government declared that every employee will profit from the president's promise to pay low-level workers in the nation $25,000 each month for six months. Tinubu claimed the provisional salary hike was agreed to raise the minimum wage without triggering excessive inflation during his Independence Day speech earlier that day. He continued by saying that the action was a part of his administration's efforts to ease the pain brought on by the loss of fuel subsidies.
