Residents of the FCT protest growing insecurity and call for quick action

The chief of operations claimed that the commercial motorcycles had been flagged by security organizations as a "security threat" and that they were to be kept off city streets.The frequency of kidnapping and robberies in the city center of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in recent years has alarmed some locals.The spate of insecurity in the FCT was described as worrying, disturbing, and unacceptable by the locals who talked with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday. They encouraged the FCT Administration and security authorities to act quickly to protect residents from criminals. A public worker named Joel Adewale informed NAN that his daughter was recently attacked while traveling from Wuse to Gwagwalada.
