Lagos boy with missing intestine dies, Sanwo-Olu mourns failure to save him

Before he passed away, the kid had been getting medical care for months.On Wednesday, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu expressed sorrow at the passing of 12-year-old Adebola Akin-Bright, the child who was born without an intestine.Akin-Bright passed away on Tuesday after being taken to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). Sanwo-Olu described the death of the kid as a sad loss, not only for the deceased's family and friends, but also for him personally and the entire state, in a statement of condolences from his chief press secretary, Gboyega Akosile. Given the attempts made by the Lagos State Government to save the young boy, he said that his death was agonizing.
