Senator who claimed he persuaded his judge wife is not given protection by the court

According to the court, Bulkachuwa's remark was a confession of engaging in illegal behavior.Adamu Bulkachuwa sued the ICPC and the Department of State Services (DSS) over a remark he made during the closing session of the 9th National Assembly (NASS), but the Federal High Court in Abuja dismissed the case on Tuesday.According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Bulkachuwa, who represented the 9th Assembly's Bauchi North Senatorial District, claimed in a widely shared video tape on June 10 that his wife, Justice Zainab, a former Court of Appeal President, supported his fellow lawmakers in the National Assembly. The ex-lawmaker, however, filed the suit against the law enforcement agencies, including the Nigeria police, in his bid to stop them from investigating him over the alleged corrupt comment.
