Police set up special homicide team to investigate Mohbad's death

The Lagos State Police Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa, has assembled a special squad to determine the exact reason of his death.The squad was selected from the homicide division of the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), according to a statement made by the command's spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, on Saturday. He said that the team's inquiry into the matter had already begun. According to Hundeyin, the special investigative team was required due to the growing level of public concern and the initial police probe into the overall circumstances surrounding the death.
