SDP candidate for governor in Oyo resigns in favor of Makinde
The SDP candidate previously served as the state's attorney general and commissioner for justice. Michael Lana of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), who was running for governor of Oyo State, has resigned in favor of Gov. Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Tuesday in Ibadan, Lana held a press conference where he declared his resignation.
