Despite losing in court, LP Chieftain is confident Obi will retake the presidency

The leader of the Labour Party criticized the ruling made by the presidential tribunal. Stephen Osemwegie, a leader in the Labour Party and a candidate for governor in the Edo 2024 election, has maintained optimism about the possibility that Peter Obi, his party's presidential candidate in this year's general election, will prevail in court against President Bola Tinubu Obi and his party had brought Tinubu and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) before the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in an effort to have the President's victory declared invalid. But the petitioners' good fortune ran out as the five-member panel, presided over by Justice Haruna Tsammani, dismissed all of the charges and upheld Tinubu's victory, which had already been certified by INEC.
