PDP loses significantly in Plateau after 4 NASS members are dismissed by the tribunal

Due to the party's lack of organization, the tribunal determined that the PDP candidates in Plateau were improperly nominated.Due to a lack of organization, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) suffered a significant defeat at the national and state houses of assembly elections petition tribunal in Plateau State. This is due to the tribunal, which is located in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, invalidating the four National Assembly elections for the party on the grounds of invalid nomination. The three-member panel, which was chaired by Justice Mohammed Tukur, unanimously determined that the absence of a party organization in the state prevented the PDP candidates from being legitimately nominated. The lawmakers so far affected by the judgement include Musa Bagos representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency; Beni Lar representing Langtang North/Langtang South Federal Constituency; Peter Gyendeng representing Barkin-Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency and Napoleon Bali, representing Plateau South Senatorial District.
