NLC declares success after ending its warning strike after two days

The NLC applauded Nigerian employees who took part in the strike.On Tuesday, September 5, 2023, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) declared the end of its industrial action.The two-day nationwide warning strike was organized in part to alert the Federal Government to the hardships that Nigerian workers have experienced as a result of President Bola Tinubu's cancellation of the gasoline subsidy payment. As economic and commercial activity was suspended on Tuesday and Wednesday in various states of the Federation, the organized labor's decision was largely accepted.
