Yahaya Bello increases NYSC allowances in Kogi by 100%

The governor of Nigeria, Bello, generously supports corps members.In Kogi State, Governor Yahaya Bello announced a significant 100% increase in the allowances for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) participants.The historic declaration was made at the State's Orientation Camp in Kabba Bunu Local Government Area during the 2023 Batch 'B' Stream 2 NYSC program's closing ceremony. Governor Bello's generosity extends beyond merely the increase in allowance; in addition, he has promised to provide a generous donation of 37.7 million Naira as logistical support to help these committed Youth Corps members smoothly transition to their various major assignments. Speaking to the crowd, Governor Bello asked private sector employers to work together to prioritize the welfare of NYSC participants, recognizing their critical contribution to the development of the country.
