Wike declared that despite being appointed as a minister in the APC administration, he still belongs to the PDP.Nyesom Wike, the minister in charge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has dared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leadership to suspend him or to start a disciplinary process against him.On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, Wike stated this in an interview with Politics Today on Channels Television. Following Wike's decision to accept a ministerial position in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Federal Government led by President Bola Tinubu, requests have been made for the PDP to suspend or expel him. "Who will punish me? Since the party encouraged rotation, I should be the one demanding the punishment of those who broke the party's rules. “Who will suspend me? I want to dare anybody,” the Minister said.
