Kano senator steps up his bid for the Senate presidency
In the fight for the 10th Senate Presidency, Barau is presenting himself as one of the senators to beat. Barau Jibrin, a senator for Kano North Senatorial District, reportedly welcomed 70 senators-to-be as he ramped up his campaign for the coveted position of Senate President in the 10th National Assembly.
