UNICAL dismisses Dean of Law following claims of sexual assault

According to the letter, Obi suspended Ndifon while a panel was being formed to look into the accusations made against him.Prof. Cyril Ndifon, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Calabar, has been placed on administrative leave by the university administration for allegedly breaking established rules and regulations.The letter informing the student of the suspension was signed by Mr. Gabriel Egbe, the university's registrar. The suspension, according to the statement, began on Thursday. Ndifon was suspended following a protest by some law students at the university, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
